The tape adheres quickly to paper and cardboard surfaces but if the top layer is peeled off a non-removable warning message “OPEN VOID” remains as evidence of tampering. Once peeled off the top layer cannot be reapplied. The top layer is also printed with a message to warn warehouse and delivery operatives of this security measure. The tape is applied in the same way as conventional packaging tapes using any 50mm core pistol grip of bench mounted dispenser.
